Heléne Steyl

Heléne learnt to draw and paint professionally only in 2003 after spending many years in the corporate world. She attended various art courses and workshops run by artists she admired, she studied art books and completed many self study courses.

In time she developed her own unique style and way of expression.

Heléne uses vibrant colours and bold brush strokes to express her interpretation and impressions of a subjects or emotions. She only uses her own photographs as references and produces original, unique works of art.

She paints in oil and acrylic, experiments with enamel and multi-media. She loves learning and always enjoys experimenting with various techniques and methods.
